Hands-On With Google Nexus 7 Tablet (Video)
Here it is! In less than 10 minutes, I will explain why you should get the hottest tablet on the market right now. Meet the whole new Google Nexus 7 tablet, the hardware made by Asus. The company is well-known for their excellent build quality and they definitely deliver the solid products.
Nexus 7 tablet is powered by Android 4.1 “Jelly Bean”. The new operating systems seems more redefined and stabilized after the Android 4.0, the Ice Cream Sandwich.

Google Nexus 7 tablet is a lightweight, much lighter than the iPad 3. It comes in two different models, 8 GB for 199 dollars and 16 GB for 249 dollars. It sports the new Nvidia Terga 3 CPU/GPU plus a gig of RAM. It also sports a 1.2 megapixels front-facing camera for video chat. Unfortunately there’s no back camera.
While watching a movie or playing a game, the screen looks absolutely fantastic. It has a 7 inch IPS screen and it has Gorilla Glass coating to prevent from breaking or scratches. There’s no glare, even when you are looking from the side view. It is quite amazing what you get for the low price, simply at 199 dollars with a solid hardware specs.
There are a few things that I didn’t mention in the video; it does not have a micro SD card to expand the storage space nor a HDMI output, so you can’t show your tablet’s screen onto a large television.
You can purchase the tablet from Google Play, however CNET reported this week that GameStop, Staples, Sam’s Club and Office Depot has already sold out of the tablets. GameStop told CNET they expected more shipments on August 7.
The question remains…
